We are located on the low road at Churchwood Valley Holiday Park, Wembury, PL90DZ.  Location can be found on google maps.

There is free parking on the road directly above the sauna field. Please park within the white lines, allowing other vehicles to pass.

Please note, access to the site is steps and uneven ground.

Question 2

What to bring?

Accepted Answer

Please bring swimwear or comfortable clothing for the sauna.

Two towels, one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry yourself after your session.

Slip on shoes/sandals for getting around the site.
Warm layers or changing robe during colder months is advised, we do not have a warm shower. We don’t have changing rooms.
Drinking water is provided but you can also bring a water bottle to refill which must be left outside the sauna.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive promptly 5 minutes before your session. Come dressed in your swimwear/slip ons/changing robe/dressing gown ready to hop straight in the sauna after a short briefing. We cannot give you extra time if you are late for your session as we will most likely have another booking arriving. We allow 10 minutes between sessions to clean down the sauna.

Where can I put my belongings?

We have individual boxes for you to store your belongings. We ask you to limit what you bring and do not to bring any valuables as the boxes will not always be supervised.

How to use our sauna?

Arrive to your session ready to sauna.

Please take care while moving around the site, the ground is uneven and can get slippery when wet.

For safety and hygiene it is a requirement that you sit on a towel at all times whilst in the sauna.

Please rinse your feet between the sauna, shower and dip tank using the foot baths available.

Please do not use any products while in the sauna.
If you want to add water to the stones, do this only with the water provided. Be sure to get everyone's consent before doing so. Do not pour large quantities of water onto the stones, but rather sprinkle it on.

Do you have toilet facilities?

We are a wild sauna and currently don’t have toilet facilities on site. The closest toilets are at the holiday park or Wembury beach.

Cancellations

Accepted Answer

You may reschedule  or cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your session. To do so please log in to your account.

We operate in all weather, however if a severe weather warning doesn’t allow us to open, we will contact you to reschedule.

Question 8

Sauna Safety

There are some medical reasons why sauna might not be safe for you.

Everyone attending the sauna is required to read the terms and conditions of use.

Please read this carefully, especially relating to many medical conditions and pregnancy.

Stay hydrated and listen to your body during your session. We advise not staying in the sauna for longer than 20 minutes at a time.

Can I hire the sauna for my own retreat or day event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have special rates if you would like to book the sauna for your own event or retreat.

Lost property

Accepted Answer

Any lost property found at the site will be kept for 1 month. Please contact us if you think you have lost something and we will track it down for you.
